SAP North America
SAP North America enlisted FXFOWLE Architects to design a landmark at their North American headquarters campus, and hired Exit Design to create a complementary interior wayfinding system for the 200,000 square foot, platinum LEED-certified building.
Exit Design established navigational zones in response to the interior architecture with a color-coded wayfinding system, accenting the elevator lobbies visible from the four-story glass atrium.
SEGD honored this wayfinding program with a Global Design Award.
The building’s neutral color palette is now subtly enlivened by the use of colored interior signage, which is visible from other buildings on campus.
Leaning into the SAP brand typeface, alphanumeric zoning is featured on all signage. Vertical steel blades with changeable components are clean and minimal to provide maximum flexibility.
In sync with SAP’s efforts to reduce environmental impact, Exit Design minimized material usage and specified low-VOC paints.
