Honoring the Journey of Cancer Care
At the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute, a striking two-story addition to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s outpatient pavilion, Exit reimagined donor recognition as more than a display. We approached it as a powerful reflection of the cancer journey itself. Ballinger Architects carried the palette through the interiors to create a cohesive visual rhythm, while we developed a graphic language that ties every element together. The result is a lobby centerpiece that conveys the emotional arc of cancer care, elevates Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s evolving brand, and honors the generosity that fuels their mission, all in one unforgettable, narrative installation.
From Diagnosis to Healing
Every detail tells a story. The color palette and line patterns trace the journey from anxiety to hope. Red captures the intensity of the moment of diagnosis, while the progression to calming blues reflects the evolving path toward healing and remission. Through this thoughtful design, visitors experience a narrative of resilience, care, and community from the moment they enter the lobby.
