With approximately 400,000 visitors per year, Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia has been providing the local Washington, DC community with state-of-the-art healthcare services for over 70 years.
In response to recent feedback from patients and visitors, Virginia Hospital Center has retained ex;it to evaluate existing wayfinding conditions and make recommendations on how to enhance the visitor experience and assist navigation throughout the 530,000 sq. ft. facility. Focus groups and surveys are currently being conducted with selected staff, visitors and patients to gain an understanding of current challenges and possibilities for improvement.
